Responsible for designing, building, delivering, and maintaining software applications & services. Working in the areas of machine, cloud, platform, and/or application. Responsible for software lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation/procedures, and implementation.Frontend developers create the interface and experience that people interact with. They develop visually appealing and functional website components, such as buttons. Their work shapes how users see and interact with a company’s online presence. Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with system engineers, front-end developers, and software developers to implement solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions.
- Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.
- Writes codes that meet standards and deliver desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
- Build features such as web services and Queries on existing tables.
- Understand performance parameters and assess application performance.
- Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using language of choice
Education Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with basic experience.
Required Technical Expertise
- Experience with front-end technologies such as Javascript, HTML5, CSS, AngularJS, BackboneJS, EmberJS, KnockoutJS
- Experienced with developing software solutions using C++, C++/CLI, C#, Python and Java
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Minikube, Helm charts, Yaml
- Experience with database management systems (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with modern tooling (Gradle, Maven, Git, SVN)
- Comfortable in building features such as web services and Queries on existing tables.
- Aware of methods and practices such as Lean/Agile/XP, etc.
- Prior work experience in an agile environment, or introductory training on Lean/Agile.
- Aware of and able to apply continuous integration (CI).
- General understanding of the impacts of technology choice on the software development life cycle.
- Experience with developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-hosted applications and solutions on AWS PKS and EC2.
- Experienced with designing and developing database backends using SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL
- Experienced in developing secure REST APIs
- Experienced with implementing web security using OAuth 2.0
