Software Engineer Associate Analyst Position Overview
Responsibilities
- Gathers and analyzes test software requirements for various applications within the Core Tech Engg & Solutions (CTES) organization.
- Understands a program’s architecture/design, logical and physical data models.
- Design and Develop Node.js REST API’s
- Support other product delivery partners in the successful build, test, and release of solutions.
- Ability to work on projects independently with minimal or no oversight required.
- Examine and discover methods to improve the accuracy, effectiveness, and dependability of data quality and support.
- Support the full software lifecycle of design, development, testing, and support for technical delivery.
- Works with both the Scrum Master, Product, QA, and Developers, and QA team members in properly defining testable scenarios based on requirements/acceptance criteria.
- Be part of a fast-moving team, working with the latest tools and open-source technologies.
- Work on a development team using agile methodologies.
- Understand the Business and the Application Architecture End-to-End
- Solve problems by crafting software solutions using maintainable and modular code.
- Participate in daily team standup meetings where you’ll give and receive updates on the current backlog and challenges.
- Attending sprint meetings to discuss action items, providing updates, and raising any concerns about development activities
- Working with senior engineers to conduct a feasibility analysis for the project and outline the potential challenges
- Taking part in meetings alongside software engineers, managers, and clients to understand the project’s requirements, including its functional and non-functional requirements
- Coordinating with the development team in resolving the identified issues by modifying code, changing configurations, or allocating additional resources based on the type of issue
- Developing test cases and scripts to verify the correctness and functionality of the software
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related coursework
- 0 to 1 years of experience in programming, API creation, and UI.
- Experience working in database environments like Oracle, SQL, and MongoDB
- Experience in using an IDE like Visual Studio Code, VS Code, Etc
- Experience in developing backends using NODE
- Experience in developing frontend with Angular or React
- Experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS
- Knowledge of API tools like Postman, SoapUI, etc.
- Experience in business requirement analysis, test design, defect logging, and tracking
- Experience in Git based source control tools like GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment along with tools like Jira, Rally, etc.
Required Experience & Education
- Proven experience with design and development of large-scale enterprise application solutions.
- College degree (Bachelor) in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience.
- Expert-level experience in relational and NOSQL databases
- 0 – 1 years of experience in Software engineering
- Hands-on experience in engineering/developing modern on-prem/public cloud DevSecOps solutions, Angular, NodeJS, Python, and Go
- Willing to learn, go above and beyond attitudes.
- Experience with modern and legacy development languages.
Desired Experience
- Exposure to AWS, PySpark, and Postgres DB / Dinamo DB
- Healthcare experience, including Disease Management
